Stinky Fish

Legal Seafood continues to be an affront to all that is good and decent in the universe.

Boston Globe:

“One of the problems with a practice like this is that the employer is having one group of employees pay another to do their job,” said Hillary Schwab, the lawyer representing the wait staff. “Silverware rolling has nothing to do with customer service, it’s just something that has to be done in the restaurant, and Legal was having the waiters pay the silverware rollers.”

Just pay your employees Roger, lord knows you charge your customers enough.

Chess.com rant

I am not good at chess nor do I pretend to be.  I play for fun and diversion.   If I timed out rather than resigned it's not because you "took my queen" or because I was losing.  I lose (and resign) often.   When I time out its because something else in my life that takes priority for me came up.   That's all.  If you feel the need to post a message to me accusing me of timing out it says more about you than it says about me.   After all, if you are matched against me by chess.com you are within 200 points of my approximate points on chess.com (<1500), you are also NOT GOOD AT CHESS.   The fact that you do not realize this and feel compelled to talk trash and taunt people you don't know over the Internet says more about you and your insecurities than anything else.  Good day.
